To the best of my memory the following is theKaramchedu Timeline.
1. Feb 1985 AIRSU Conference Hyderabad. Radical supporters fromKaramachedu attended the conference.
2. May 1985 Village campaign was disturbed by the local landlords inKaramchedu village.
3. 17 July 1985 Ghostly incident occurred. Initial relief work was done bylocal radicals and it was furthered by Kathi Padma Rao of Hetuvada Sangham, Salagala Rajasekhar and Mukiri Victor Shyamson. (Church Office Bearer ).
4. July End 1985 I joined the movement on the behest of People's War. Nemaluri Bhaskara Rao was RC secretary. and there was some Com. Balaiah / Raju (name subject to verification). to guide me on behalf of the RC. Bokka Parmajyothy, Virapani Venkateswara Rao were my supporters apart from Radicals among the victims such as Isac, Prabhakar and others.. There was cultural team led by Diwakar and Dappu Ramesh.Kumari, Yuvaka (Kalaikuri Durga Prasad) and Chandrasriwere also very active in those days.
5. 15 August 1985 Radicals, under my leadership organised a public meeting atGadiyaram Sthambham Center in Chirala. It was the first public meeting of the movement.Yelesamma, the mother of a deceased in the attack wasintroduced to public. She was killed later.
6. 1 Sept 1985 Dalita Mahasabha formed at a Huge public meeting.
7. 10 Sept 1985 State Bandh was organised. Police arrested about 100protesters. And kept them in the Chirala Police station.
8. 11 Sept 1985 Katti Padma Rao left Chirala Vijayanagar Sibiram for Guntur to stay with Kannama Raja handing over the leadership to me.
9. 13 Sept 1985 I was arrested along with seven others at Chiral and sent to Ongole jail and we got condition bail the other day. And I becamethe in-charge of Vijayanagar Sibiram since then. There waspolice surveillance for me at the sibiram.
10. 6 Oct 1985 Police lifted the condition of the bail on a new condition that Ishould should leave Chirala.Same day Kathi Padma Rao was arrested at Vijayawada public meeting.
11. July 1989 The Chirala court acquitted me and others as the prosecution failed to prove our guilty in the court of law.
